You’re a woman in midlife feeling confused, unfulfilled, and stuck. You have lost your purpose and worry the best years are behind you. I get it! I’ve been there too.

I’m 55 and believe the best years are ahead of me.

And so can you!

Hi, I’m Juli!

I’m a Life Coach that supports women feeling stuck in midlife move forward with more clarity and confidence so they can get excited about their life again.

 MY STORY

When I turned 50, I was far from fulfilled and believed the best years were behind me.

At that time, I was spinning in confusion about my purpose, managing some age related health challenges, and had a ton of self-doubt.

I looked to the past with regret while living each day feeling a heavy emotional weight that sapped my energy and any optimism I had about my future.

What really confused me was that I had a great family and the freedom to work on my terms.

My life was actually pretty good, which just piled on some guilt and shame.

Given that I was a life coach with training in positive psychology and a devoted yoga practitioner, I thought if anyone should know how to be happy in midlife, it was me!

Although these tools were helpful, they only kept me at midline. I was definitely not flourishing.

Then I doubled down on life coaching and everything started to change.

I learned how to:

  • To reconnect with who I was and what I really wanted.

  • Handle all of the changes and challenges of midlife

  • To stop listening to the negative voice inside my head saying “the best years are behind me”

  • Release lingering past regret

  • Take massive action toward my goals and dreams

  • Honor and appreciate my changing body

As a Professional —

For the first 20 years of my career, I had a fulfilling career in corporate Human Resources. I enjoyed reasonable success and was known for my creative ways to bring out the best in employees. Before it was a best practice, I was an advocate of bringing well-being into the workplace. I made a difference and loved having a title, a team, and earning a paycheck.

After the birth of my second child and a life changing illness, I made the hard decision to leave corporate (and my identity behind) to take care my family and my health. From there, I found the healing benefits of yoga. Yoga had such a profound impact on my life and with no professional outlet, I became a certified yoga teacher. I added in a few more certifications including Integrated Ayurveda, Life Coaching, and Applied Positive Psychology. For many years, I dedicated myself to my family, taught yoga, facilitated well-being programs, coached clients, and served as an HR Consultant. Although I reached many people, something was missing. I lived with this apathy through my 40’s. Fast forward to 50, I was confused about my identity and felt like I have wasted my life. I certainly wasn’t living into my potential.

Then I found the teachings of The Life School. Slowly, I integrated the concepts and practices, and my life began to change. I began to have more clarity, feel more confident, and started to get excited about my life again. After years of searching and trying to prove my worth. I realized that I am already worthy and that nothing was missing in my life. Just like yoga, The Life Coach School had such a profound impact on my life, that I decided to get a second Life Coaching Certification. My first certification was like Jr. College Level studies. My second, certification, through The Life Coach School, was Graduate Level work.

I now get to use all the best from The Life Coach School teachings and my other certifications along with my professional experience to make an impact by guiding women to a more fulfilling and flourishing midlife.

On a Personal Level —

I’ve been married twice, divorced once. I’m proud to say that I maintained a good relationship with my Ex as co-parents of our son. I’ve been remarried for 22 years to a generous, hardworking, and funny man. I have two children that are my biggest teachers and loves of my life. They challenge me to be a better human everyday.

I’ve managed depression and anxiety for most of my adult life. Yoga has played a huge part in maintaining my mental and physical health and I cannot live without it. I believe that traditional medicine and alternative medicine are equally important. But, taking care of yourself with positive habits is a non-negotiable for greater wellbeing.

I’ve learned that my health and happiness are 100% my responsibility. I’ve never been athletic or played any sports. But, at 54, I decided to learn how to play tennis. It’s so hard and so much fun. Learning about the human condition totally lights me up! So, I have too many certifications, listen to too many podcasts, and read too many books. Most importantly, regardless of what is going on in my life, I count my blessing every single day.
